Our Story of Purpose & Impact

Born from a belief that dignity and opportunity belong to everyone — JEIWO has grown from a small volunteer group into a national movement.

From One Village to 22 States

JEIWO started in 2019 when Arvind Jain, a former development sector professional, visited a village in Barmer, Rajasthan, and found children walking 6km each way for schooling that barely met minimum standards. That moment was the spark.

Within a year, JEIWO had set up its first digital classroom, partnered with a local NGO for teacher training, and enrolled 200 children. By 2021, the model had been replicated in 45 schools across 5 states.

Today, JEIWO runs 48 active programs in education, healthcare, skill development, environmental sustainability, and nutrition. We are registered under the Societies Registration Act, hold 12A and 80G certifications, and are FCRA-compliant for international funding.

Founder & President

"We didn't set out to build an organisation. We set out to solve a problem. And then another. And another. JEIWO is the sum of every community we've sat with, every child we've seen light up with knowledge, every mother who has taken control of her family's health. This is not our work — it is their story, and we are privileged to be part of it."
